The threefold “Nature-Art-Education” approach arose from the research carried out by Deyrolle as part of the Terre de Versailles project, in the Versailles area.
Deyrolle, a partner of COP21, worked alongside Icade’s project team as a creator of sustainable concepts by imagining an urban planning project based on three pillars: nature, art and education.
The goal of the partnership formed between Icade and Deyrolle is to create this new label which will be the only one of its kind in France. Its main advantage is that it will showcase key values and allow for greater differentiation in various aspects of real estate projects (neighbourhood, building, garden).
In addition, this initiative can shed light on Icade’s commitment (and that of all the players responsible for regional transformations) through a label which will ensure landscape quality, quality of life for inhabitants, respect for cultural heritage and the transmission of knowledge.
No label has yet addressed these issues as a whole in a cross-disciplinary manner. To date, no certification includes education.
The Nature-Art-Education (NAE) label will also take inspiration from the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
