Prithika Pavade, 17 years old, is racking up a string of feats over the course of each sporting season!
This week, the gifted young French table tennis player became French senior champion for the 1st time in her career.
Icade has been sponsoring Prithika Pavade, one of the most talented table tennis players of her generation, for the past 4 years. Her latest success? On June 26 in Mouilleron-le-Captif (Vendée), Prithika won two titles, in women's singles and doubles, at the French Championships. In four sets (12-10, 11-4, 12-10, 11-7), she beat six-time French champion Jia Nan Yuan, 20 years her senior!
Since 2018, Icade has been sponsoring the young French table tennis prodigy with a view to the 2024 Olympics. This support concerns Prithika herself, her future studies and professional integration, as well as the Saint-Denis club, SDUS 93 (Saint-Denis Union Sports Tennis de Table), where she trains, notably through the financing of equipment. The partnership also demonstrates Icade's commitment to the Plaine Commune region and the city of Saint-Denis.
