Icade and Ynov complete the Digital Campus project in Toulouse

A hotel and student residence project co-developed with Ynov and sold off-plan by Icade to The Student Hotel for a total of €34 million excluding taxes on July 23, 2019. 

This innovative concept is the first of its kind in France. Covering 10,833 sq.m, it provides hybrid accommodations for travellers, professionals and students and will include: 

354 rooms of different categories

1 bar and restaurant

1 fitness area

Meeting rooms, high-tech study areas and AV rooms

1 laundry room

1 bicycle park and a TSH bike per room

1 roof terrace with a swimming pool 

Two additional off-plan sale projects between Icade and the investor and operator Ynov, for a total amount of around €20 million excluding taxes:

“Digital School & Campus” building covering 3,955 sq.m of floor area (off-plan sale agreement signed on June 27, 2019), housing all the digital technology departments (Audiovisual Media, IT, 3D Animation & Video Games, Marketing & Communication, Creation & Design)

A building covering 3,716 sq.m of floor area for co-working spaces (off-plan sale agreement signed on September 10, 2019) including a restaurant and conference room on the ground floor and offices on the upper floors

This complex development project arose out of a long-term partnership with the city of Toulouse: 
The off-plan acquisition by the municipality of the Sky-Line II office building (completed last March) in Borderouge, where the Office of Early Childhood was relocated, offsetting the sale and development of the former Compans Caffarelli barracks, located on Place de l’Europe, for the purpose of developing a Digital Campus and various accommodations.

Anticipated timeline:
Completion of The Student Hotel: Hotel and student residence:     Q2 2021
Completion of the Ynov school and co-working space:    H2 2021

These projects are part of a continuing partnership with Ynov, coming after the launch of a student campus in Ivry-sur-Seine in October 2018 which was sold off-plan and is scheduled for completion in September 2021. They showcase the expertise and positioning of Icade Promotion in the residential, office and retail segments.
