Icade and MAP Architecture have been chosen to lead the overhaul of the site of the UNAPEI Alpes Provenceassociation in the Montolivet neighbourhood, in the 4th district of Marseille, following a call for projectslaunched in the spring of 2018.
This project designed in partnership with CDC Habitat, ADOMA and Banque des Territoires involves the construction of a nearly 12,600-sq.m complex:
Reconstruction of the association’s facilities:- 1,200 sq.m of office space for the headquarters of the UNAPEI 13/04/05 association
- 1,200 sq.m for the operations of several of the association’s facilities: Day services, social life support services (SAVS), medical and social support services for disabled adults (SAMSAH), etc.
- 500-sq.m eating area
The development of 44 housing units in the complex as part of the creation of a home for disabled persons offering different types of housing: 4,550 sq.m of intermediate housing with CDC Habitat and 4,475-sq.m residence for young workers with ADOMA.
The creation of services on the ground and garden levels:
- 375 sq.m of shops on the ground floor
- 300 sq.m of paramedical services
- Shared gardens, vegetable gardens and sports areas
Construction is scheduled to start in 2020, with completion of the project expected in H2 2022.
