At SIMI 2018, Icade Promotion, Icade Santé and Korian today announced that they had signed three construction contracts for post-acute care facilities in the Paris region and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, which are scheduled to open by 2021 in Le Perreux-sur-Marne (Val-d’Oise), Livry-Gargan (Seine-Saint-Denis) and Saintes (Charente-Maritime).

These three large-scale projects—easily accessible and located in high-need areas—are designed to relocate existing structures and expand their services. They will improve both patient experience and care, especially for elderly, polypathological patients, on multimodal healthcare platforms that combine inpatient and outpatient care in addition to consultation services, in line with regulatory and social changes.

These projects have emerged from the partnership forged with Icade in 2017. They are in addition to Oncopole (Toulouse) which will be completed in Q2 2019 and Cap Ferrière (Martigues) which was completed last spring. This framework agreement, involving both Icade Santé and Icade Promotion, includes the development, design and construction of facilities under property development contracts or off-plan purchase contracts in addition to the investment.

The three Korian/Icade contracts signed in December 2018:

Project to relocate Korian Joncs Marins to Le Perreux-sur-Marne (off-plan purchase agreement with Icade)

-  100 inpatient beds and 30 outpatient places (multi-service PAC, geriatrics (elderly dependent, polypathological patients) and oncology) and a consultation clinic

- This HQE-certified facility has incorporated the use of BIM (Building Information Modelling)

- Construction will start in July 2019 with the facility up and running in July 2021

Project to relocate and combine the following facilities: Korian Sully (LivryGargan) and Korian Roger Salengro (Noisy-le-Sec) to Livry Gargan (property development contract)

- 166 inpatient beds and 25 outpatient places (multi-service PAC, geriatrics (elderly dependent, polypathological patients) and chronic vegetative states) and a consultation clinic

-  Construction will start in January 2019 with the facility up and running in March 2021 2
